Today was a great day for low carb cooking in the Lust house!!
I tried a low carb noodle recipe off online... Fathead Pasta
It was so satisfying and completely felt like I was eating pasta!
I had it with my Prime Rib low carb stroganoff. This is definitely a game changer for my new lifestyle. It’s hard sometimes to feel like I’m giving up great foods I love, even though I know it’s to keep me healthy. Finding great substitutes makes it easier. I will keep this recipe handy
Tonight for dessert I’ll be making Low Carb Butter Pecan Ice Cream.
Some tips:
-I used an oiled pizza cutter to cut the pasta.
-I would add that the pasta is better the drier it was when I cooked it. I’ll dry it in the fridge a different way next time.
-Instead of putting it under running water after cooking I had a bowl of cold water handy and placed it in there right away to stop the cooking process.
