Low Carb White Pizza....to die for!


I love, love, love pizza... I love everything about it from the chewy crust to the melty cheese to the pepperoni grease that runs down your hand. I have been missing that perfect slice of heaven. Today I was inspired by my oldest daughter to create a low carb white pizza... I was a little skeptical how it would turn out, but was pleasantly surprised. Whatever you’re cooking as long as you use the best and freshest ingredients anything can taste delicious, while not missing the comfort of your favorite foods. I’ll share the brands and where I bought them to hopefully make it easier.

Low Carb White Pizza

2 Spinach and Herb low carb tortillas, Mission brand

1/2 - 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 - 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, Bel Gioioso

1 cup Ricotta cheese, Bel Gioioso

1/2 tsp dried basil

1/2 tsp crushed red pepper, optional

salt and pepper

1 1/2 TB Beano’s classical white pizza sauce with oregano

1/2 cup cooked broccoli florets

3-4 grape tomatoes, sliced

1 Baby Bella mushroom, sliced

1 sprig fresh Basil, thinly sliced


Preheat oven to 425’. Mix together ricotta, dried Basil crushed red pepper,salt, and pepper to taste. Be careful once you taste it you’re going to want to eat it all! Set aside. Sprinkle a little mozzarella and Parmesan between the 2 tortillas to keep them together and to provide more of a crust texture.


Top the top tortilla with the Beano’s white pizza sauce and spread it to the edges. Then top it with a layer of ricotta cheese, but not too thick. Sprinkle with a bit of cheese.

Place your desired toppings on top broccoli, tomatoes, basil, mushrooms....

Finally, top with mozzarella and Parmesan. Bake in the oven on a stone for 8-10 minutes.

Then repeat all the steps again.... because you won’t be able to have just one and your family will want you to share.
